Abstract

The low availability and mobility of phosphorus in tropical soils is a limiting nutrition and production of bean factor. This study aimed to evaluate the response of bean to increasing doses of foliar phosphorus at different growth stages under conditions of phosphorus fertilization of normal and reduced seeding. The experiment was conducted at the State University of Goiás, in the Ipameri University Experimental Unit field. The soil of the area was classified as Typic loam, medium texture. The experimental design was a randomized block design (RBD), arranged in a 2 x 7 factorial with four replications. The first factor corresponded to P fertilization at the base, with 60 and 120 kg ha-1 P2O5; The second factor, in seven levels, were the times and rates of phosphorus applied as foliar application: T1 1 kg ha-1 P2O5 foliar phenological stage V3, T2: 0.5 kg ha-1 P2O5 foliar phenological stage V3, T3 1 kg ha-1 P2O5, leaf installments, 20% at the phenological stage V3, up 40% in phenological stage R5 and 40% at the phenological stage R6; T4: 0.5 kg ha-1 P2O5, leaf installments, 20% at the phenological stage V3, over 40% at the phenological stage R5 and 40% at the phenological stage R6, T5: 1 kg ha-1 P2O5 with foliar application of 50% at the phenological stage R5 and 50% at the phenological stage R6, T6: 0.5 kg ha-1 P2O5 with foliar application of 50% at the phenological stage R5 and 50% at the phenological stage R6, T7 no application P2O5 foliar. As phosphorus source monoammonium phosphate was applied to the soil; On fertilization foliar phosphorus was used phosphoric acid as a source. There were significant interactions between the foliar fertilization and the dose used in the seeding. With 120 kg ha-1 P2O5 resulted in the highest biomass of the shoot, which was 71.32 grams per plant. As for the number of grains per plant, there were significant interactions between the foliar fertilization and the dose used in the seeding. Accumulation of phosphorus in grains, there were significant interactions between the foliar fertilization and the dose used in the seeding. The protein content in the grain showed significant interactions between the foliar fertilization and the dose used in the seeding. But did not differ significantly as a function of the phosphorus applied to the soil. There were significant interactions between the foliar fertilization and the dose used in the seeding, the bean yield. The number of pods per plant, number of grains per pod, the weight of 100 grains; phosphorus concentration in the shoot, the nitrogen concentration in shoot was not increased with doses of phosphorus applied to the soil or foliar.
