Abstract

Deforestation and different land uses cause several environmental transformations, which can have as consequences, an increase in the incidence of several diseases that are transmitted in the most varied ways, one of which is those transmitted by vectors. And understanding the vector cycle, the factors that favor the transmission of diseases, population dynamics, changes in the environment/environment, among others, are essential to outline action strategies that require a detailed and careful analysis of the health situation, as well as as a vast knowledge, given the complexity and dynamism of pathologies. Since data collection, different variables are relevant to understand the illness of the population, such as the basic sanitation situation, economic and educational situation, among others, where the Geography of Health stands out and is necessary for the understanding of ecological interactions and interference favorable to the emergence of zoonoses. Whether through the elaboration of maps, territorial studies, the spatialization of cases, through geography, different tools help in the prevention and planning of strategies, acting on health vulnerabilities. In this way, the research used a retrospective study on the epidemiological data of visceral leishmaniasis, malaria and yellow fever and its relationship with the different land uses of Goiás, as well as a bibliographic review of the interference of deforestation on the epidemiological picture. of these zoonoses. Where it was observed that the State has been suffering a lot from the consequences of economic growth, directed to agribusiness, livestock and mining, as well as the increase in population in urban centers, which also harbor vectors that seek favorable means for their development, which culminates in a greater number of reported cases.
