Abstract

Goiás, formelly the capital of the homonymous state, has thought of its cultural heritage since 1933. Along the time, the protection initiatives were pilled up untill ingathering the UNESCO Cultural World Heritage title in 2001, and the protection of an intangible cultural heritage by municipality in 2020. Although it is fair to consider that the heritage protection path is long and has drawn attentions from many researchers, those studies may not be considered as undergone. Up this line, researches indicate that a wide range of people in local community doesn’t feel contemplated by the heritage selections stated by the government protective actions. Complementarily, those studies focus over many heritages and identities vinculated processes yet not recognized nor attended by official agencies. This investigation aims to review scientific studies that have already worked over the thematics, in a will to identify the actions and steps that still need attention and solutions, by specialists and public managers. Initiatives that may guarantee goals to an inclusive Goiás’ cultural heritage management. Through a virtual data collection, it is intended to offer a tool capable to allow local comunity’s voices to speak up, permitting democratic heritage pacticies through identifications, selections and protective actions on the cultural resources.
