Abstract
This dissertation sign up on the Research Line “Education and Social Pratices” of the Graduate Program in Education Line Language and Technologies of Universidade Estadual de Goiás (UEG). The objective is to analyze the actual politic of postgraduate, specifically the UEG’s ones, having it’s history Stricto Sensu on a master level with the continuing formation of professors (FCP). So the problem that investigated us is what are the political guidelines of the postgraduate and to what extent the masters in the UEG are aligned to these policies relating with the FCP? The study justify itself by need of knowing about the genesis of politic guidance of postgraduate Stricto Sensu in Brazil and, specifically the UEG ones. The discussions adopt a theoretical reference marked by authors, like Brzezinski (2002), Gatti (2011), Diniz Pereira (2010), Oliveira (2014) and other ones. For this purpose, a study of case with qualitative basis, of the analytical and descriptive types, was carried. The investigation was given due to the documental and field research done in three of the postgraduate’s programs – master’s degrees – of UEG. The results indicate that the implementation of Stricto Sensu’s activities in Brazil and in the state of Goiás was given with an objective of contributing with the economic development, articulating the qualification of human resources to the needs of labour to the world of work. The details validate the contribution of the master’s degrees’ courses implemented by UEG since 2008 to promote the improvement of teaching qualification stem from the access of the more deprived to a superior teaching tier. Although it has a centrality of these programs in some UEG’s campus, because 7 (seven) of the 11 (eleven) programs are developed in the city of Anápolis and only in 4 goianos’ countryside villages. The reviews of the official documents guide a Stricto Sensu’s politic of postgraduate that the level of Brazil and of the UEG’s PDI, these programs are considered as step of the FCP. This conclude that the PG Stricto Sensu at a level of master’s degree at UEG born on a historic context of transformations, economical and social ones, involving the needy of a formative tender more contextualized that have an intentional articulation between the graduation and the UEG’s PG, since confirmed all the ones egresses of master’s degrees surveyed are from graduations courses of this institution. So, the research contribute to indicate the devaluation of teaching exercise by the public’s politics in the actuality and allow the discussions that reveals the needy of reflect
about the role of the PG in the context of the UEG contributing with the CFP and the effective improvement of the basic education on the State.
