A música como instrumento sociopolítico no ensino de ciências

Abstract

The research presented here seeks to answer the question of how music can contribute to scientific literacy? For this purpose, the objectives listed were: answer how music can contribute to understanding Scientific Literacy; know the beginnings of the concept of scientific literacy; Discuss the importance of music for cognitive and socio- interactional development, affective; understand the political role of music for learning; elaborate an educational product through the Socio-interactionist conception and the didactic sequence of the songs: “The Wrist and Ciranda of the Ballerina”. It is understood that the importance of this subject lies in the need to expand the dynamics and resources for learning, mainly due to the alleged disinterest of the student in the Science class. So, understanding that music is a form of multi-lettery that activates sensory learnings, multiple intelligences, and where the possibilities of acquiring knowledge are numerous because it is such a resource in the daily lives of young people and adolescents, music is proposed as a propellant and conductor, of the aspects of subjectivity, cognitive aspects, in addition to expanding the fields of dialogue and interaction for the formation of a critical citizenship. This is why it is justified that Science Teaching should cover, in addition to dynamic methodologies, challenging questions for students and that make scientific learning a continuous, reflective and challenging research practice. To this end, the methodology used herein is: with regard to the procedures, it is a bibliographical research made from the survey of theoretical references already analyzed, and published by written and electronic means, such as books, scientific articles, web pages. Regarding the approach, qualitative research, focused on aspects of reality that cannot be quantified, focusing on understanding and explaining the dynamics of social relations. As for the objectives, explanatory., which is concerned with identifying the factors that determine or contribute to the occurrence of phenomena. The work was divided into two theoretical chapters and one more educational product and the final considerations point to for the role of humanization, autonomy, and democratization that teaching science through music can enable: scientific, autonomous, efficient and effective and politicized learning.
