“Corda bamba”, “O meu amigo pintor” e “Nós três” : a simbologia das cores em Lygia Bojunga Nunes

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the symbology of colors in the fictions Corda Bamba (1979 [2009a), O Meu Amigo Pintor (1987[2006b]) and Nós Três (1987 [2006a]), by the writer of children's and youth literature Lygia Bojunga Nunes. Specifically, the study understands how Lygia Bojunga uses this symbology nuclei to address social issues of dimensions that are very relevant to contemporaneity. We go through the main conflicts of the novels and, through symbology and colors, a new reading is decoded. We opted for the phenomenological method, in search of a comprehensive analysis of consciousness, since the experiences of the world occur through it. In this perspective, we seek authors such as Giannotti (2021) who consider that each being has a different view of the world and color. According to this author, understanding the meaning of colors currently means different points of view and costumes. Therefore, there is no single criterion to describe them, and they can be interpreted and read in several ways. For Vera Maria Tietzmann Silva (2001), a fictional work by Lygia Bojunga balances fantasy and reality, being a great incentive to children's and youth literature through interaction and children's protagonism, in addition to training, reflection, self-knowledge and maturation in the face of differences, taboos and social norms pre-established by current society. Thus, we opted for qualitative research, of bibliography, which are based on the discussion of Lygia Bojunga Bojunga's analysis, with a view to listing the treatment of theorizations that can contribute to works dealing with the theme of the symbology of the nuclei. With this research, we show how Lygia Bojunga Nunes builds her narratives using an influence of nuclei to symbolize and characterize the imagination and everyday situations.
