Abstract
This research proposes to analyze how the knowledge and powers erupt in the subjective constitution of former female inmates from the interior of the state of Goiás. We describe,
interpret and analyze the statements of these subjects to understand how these women were constituted in three contexts: pre, during and post-prison. The main perspective of this investigation is to understand how ethics and aesthetics of the researched women work. We also reflected on the enunciative practices that portray the social differences of these subjects even before imprisonment. We discussed the constitution of this locus and the subjects who are still incarcerated and who went through prison, but continue to suffer from social prejudice and having their rights neglected daily. The methodology is supported by the Discourse Analysis of the French lines of research, especially in the epistemological contribution of Foucault (1972, 1979, 1994, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019), for investigation of a corpus gathered through seven structured interviews with a questionnaire of forty-nine questions divided into five moments (biographical identification, understanding of the reality of ex-prisoners before being arrested, professional performance before being arrested, subjectivity of ex-prisoners during prison and subjectivity of ex-prisoners after prison). In addition, we pick a theoretical framework of feminist studies to analyze the statements of these women in the three distinct moments of their subjective constitutions, as mentioned above, through the authors Borges (2019), Butler (2015, 2019), Davis (2020), Federici (2019), Tiburi (2018) and Queiroz (2015). As partial results, we realize that self practices, through disciplining the body of women who were incarcerated, are permeated by the biopolitics of the repeated social erasure, by pastoral power and, simultaneously, by biopower, since some statements, paradoxically, demonstrate the demand for disciplinary power, useful and docile, non-violent, in prison. The statements of the women surveyed are cleaved by speeches from the domain of common sense regarding the female prison system, which circulate regularly and reveal the order of the sayability about punishments, tortures, knowledge and disciplinary powers in a panoptic system that, architecturally, is the product of a biopolitics produced to marginalize also physically, through seclusion and invisibility. We conclude, from the partial results, descriptions, interpretations, and analysis of the Goiás prison monument, specifically the female one, realizing the erasure of statistics, social inclusion projects and public care policies for prisoners and prisoners. It is, once again, a negligence and a disregard for the legal and penal system in relation to these bodies, according to Foucault, considered infamous; hence their homogenization.
