Abstract

The subject, Strokes of Geo History and Geotouristics Pontentialities of the Serra Azul State Park Barra do Garças MT: Savana , Monuments, Rocks, Stories, Trails and a destination addresses Geodiversity and its abiotic elements of the earth's surface, where it is encompassed by the Gruta do Pezinho, Disco Porto, Staircase an d Christ monument, Waterfalls Trail next to Voadeira river, The Geomorphology of Blue Mountain, the Bae boat dock Complex and the Thermal Water Park. These are places that welcome tourists and through this work, instructions on Geodiversity, Geoconservatio n, Geotourism, Geoeducation and Geopatrimony, to waterfalls, viewpoints, rocky outcrops, narrow passage between rocks, slabs/rock slabs, historical monuments, cave and old power plant can be added. The reader embarks on a journey with photographic records and theoretical foundations supported by cartographic materials (maps and sketches). The reading provided an excursion into the park highlighting the potential of the abiotic elements of Geodiversity for tourism and/or geotourism practices. It is concluded that Geodiversity is present in the park and that it is important for educational, scientific and tourism practices with the need for its conservation. Therefore, the place presents tourist and/or geotouristic potential.
