Saberes e fazeres de mulheres do Quilombo Alto Santana na Cidade de Goiás : patrimônio cultural imaterial

Abstract

This technical report was developed in PROMEP's line named Culture, Preservation and Heritage research, the core of which is a study about women who hold knowledge in the quilombola community of Alto Santana, located in an urban area in the city of Goiás. The objective of this study is to understand, from the perspective of intangible cultural heritage linked to women who hold knowledge, with the aim of investigating the knowledge arising from the therapeutic use of plants to treat some diseases, as well as the elaboration of ceramic objects and the profession of clothes washerwomen. We present theoretical and methodological discussions about cultural heritage policies, which include popular knowledge and practices, and the historical contexts of the women who practice them. We used qualitative research, bibliographic analysis, interviews and a field notebook for notes as methodology. The research carried out will provide, as an educational product, an e-book that presents the oral and visual narratives of women who hold knowledge their cultural practices, which can be used as a pedagogical tool in municipal schools, in the initial grades of elementary school, targeting educators who wish to include this topic in their classes.
