Abstract

This research seeks to understand how the Labor Reform, approved in Brazil in 2017, and new cell phone application technologies impact various professional categories with a model of labor relations that can already be considered deeply precarious. The present study seeks to answer the following research question: what are the effects of the 2017 Labor Reform on labor relations, especially with regard to application platforms? To conduct the proposed study, a bibliographical review was carried out covering several authors who address the topic from a historical perspective. Some issues support work, such as the advent of "industry 4.0", the uberization of work and new application platform technologies; Marxist perspectives on work; effects of the neoliberal theories of the Chicago School on Latin America. of neoliberal institutionality in bourgeois democracy, especially in the production of discourse about entrepreneurship and its consequences for the working class, was also the subject of analysis.
