Abstract

The present study on the use of the psychoactive crack, addresses the perception from the context of the city of Anápolis-Goiás, by women consumers over 18 years old. Qualitative research had the local CAPS AD as field of research. The interviewees told their life stories, narratives that recover memories between past, present and expectations for the future. Their voices are located in the metaphor of the operation of a mechanical press. Crack is perceived as the engine that activates the operation of this press that exerts the conditioning pressure on women as mere pieces of an exclusive mechanism. This work sought to unveil, through a phenomenological view, the functioning of this mechanism according to the studies of Hurssel and Hart, in order to perceive craving as part of a mental and emotional process that precedes consciousness. The relationship with the social context is established, much more relevant to the consumption of psychoactive drugs than the chemical potency of substances that alter the state of consciousness. The historical facts raised by Federici and Harvey lead us to the process of primitive accumulation which meant the accumulation of differences, elements necessary to understand the trajectory of the oppression workshop. In consequence, gender adds the weight of invisibility and objectification on their bodies. The studies by Valois, Delgado, Delmanto and Fiore were used, which identified the ineffective way in which prohibitionist legislation prevents the use of certain drugs in spite of others, strengthening moralist discourses that marginalize some even though consumption is less and drugs are less harmful, if viewed from the perspective of related violence. The results of the sociological research point to the necessary listening and active participation of women in existing public policies, there is a growing drop in the number of people admitted to the CAPS AD unit, they are less in the population, and are neglected in their specific needs. They are exposed to their aggressors, in RAPS suffering constant violence, they do not feel heard and much less welcomed. The study found that CAPS AD does not offer adequate options, an even more serious situation in the case of the specific needs of women, does not have adequate space and violates universal care rights for lesbians, transgender and transvestites. As a result, women demonstrate chronic conditions of suffering, trauma, neglect and institutional violence through public managers in general.
