"O que sou eu, além de uma interrogação?" : a lírica de Darcy França Denófrio

Abstract

The object of this study is the lyric of Darcy França Denofrio, author from Goiás of the poetic works Vôo Cego (1980), Amaro Mar (1987), Ínvio Lado (2000), Poemas de Dor & Ternura (2008), 50 poemas escolhidos pelo autor (2011) and Uma voz e o silêncio (2014). Starting from the author's own critical fortune, which was gathered by Gilberto Mendonça Teles (2016) in O lado alado da poesia & da crítica - Homenagem a Darcy França Denófrio (2016), from other studies on modern and contemporary poetry, involving the names of Octavio Paz (1982), Alfredo Bosi (1977 and 1996), Maria Zaira Turchi (2000) and Goiandira Ortiz de Camargo (2018), and theoretical approaches that deal with the condition of the human being, found in Soren Kierkegaard (1984) and Jean-Paul Sartre (2005), among others, this work intends to present the analysis of poems by the aforementioned poet, focusing, above all, on those verses in which the themes of existential reflection (loneliness, pain, anguish, death, melancholy) and metapoetry are found in a more accentuated way. The research, from this perspective, allows a deepening of the lyric of the writer, in order to highlight the quality and depth of her literary writing, contextualizing it in the poetic scene of Goiás.
