Abstract

Meat production in the country is based on grazing cattle feed and for this reason there is growing or interest in new alternatives that enhance grammar grammar, such as the use of inoculants that use growth-promoting bacteria. The present work aims to evaluate the influence of inoculation of Azospirillum brasilense strains (ABV5 and HM053); Azospirillum sp. (L40); Azospirillum lipoferum (Sp59) and Herbaspirillum seropedicae (SMR1) in the early development of forage grasses Brachiaria brizantha BRS Piatã, Panicum maximum BRS Zuri; Panicum maximum BRS Kenya. For B. brizantha a completely randomized design (DIC) was used, being 6 treatment, five bacteria and the control, with three replications. For the Panicum genus, IHD was used in a 6x2 factorial scheme, with five bacteria plus control x two varieties of Panicum, with three replications. The evaluated parameters were: root length (cm); shoot length (cm); secondary root (unit); fresh root mass (mg); dry root mass (mg); fresh shoot mass (mg) and dry shoot mass (mg). The bacteria that presented the best results for B. brizantha BRS Piatã were Herbaspirillum seropedicae (SMR1), Azospirillum brasilense (HM053) and Azospirillum lipoferum (Sp59), for Panicum varieties it was not significant for interaction, as well as for bacteria, only for the cultivars factor. The cultivar Panicum maximum BRS Zuri presented better results for the analyzed variables, being superior to Panicum maximum BRS Kenya. As a theoretical gap, further experiments under field conditions should be conducted.
