Abstract

Over the last three decades, soybean production in the Brazilian agricultural sector has experienced significant growth in its productivity. For good agricultural productivity, it is essential that the soil has adequate fertility to provide the nutrients required by crops, in addition to good management practices and favorable climatic conditions. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of different potassium sources and doses on the production components and yields in soybean cultivation. The experiment was conducted during the 2022/2023 crop season at the experimental field of the State University of Goiás, in the municipality of Ipameri-GO. The experimental design used was randomized blocks, arranged in a 3 x 5 factorial scheme, with three potassium sources (potassium chloride (58% K2O), Ekosil (8% K2O and 25% Si), and Potasil (12% K2O and 25% Si)) and five doses (0; 50; 100; 150; and 200 kg ha-1), with four replications, applied via soil. The management used was the notillage system, over the sorghum residue, implementing the soybean cultivar NEO 750 IPRO. Potassium fertilization for the Ekosil and Potasil sources reached satisfactory levels in yield when compared to KCl; the maximum yield value occurred for the application of 138.18 kg ha1 of potassium regardless of the source.
