A educação ambiental nos cursos de licenciatura em ciências biológicas : um olhar sobre a lei nº 9.795/1999

Abstract

The Environmental Education (EA) is presented under different approaches in the educational dimension, being a conscientization tool for the environmental problem and the formation of the ideal ecological subject in a university committed to the Law n º 9.795/1999 in a social, cultural and political space. This research had an objective an investigation on the implementation of the Law No. 9.795/1999 and analyze through pedagogical proposals, in which way the dimension of the EA was inserted in the training of teachers and students in the eight undergraduate courses in Biological sciences of the State University of Goiás (UEG). An analysis of the environmental education legislation, of the implementation initiatives of the Law nº 9.795/1999 and perspectives of Interdisciplinarity and transversality according to the analysis of official documents of the University in the period of 1999 to 2017. The results of the analyses showed that there is a need to develop an EA that permeates all disciplines with knowledge, values, skills and knowledge, with an integrated vision, an intentional activity of initiatives and socio-environmental permanent practices and intentional, with a humanistic, holistic, democratic and participative approach to critical thinking through multiple knowledge and perspectives on individual and global environmental issues. Thus, it is understood the importance of the implementation of the EA in all disciplines of the undergraduate courses in biological sciences in the context of the university
