Abstract

This study aims to understand and investigate the changes in the Legal Framework of rural pensions from 2019 onwards, specifically for rural women in the state of Goiás. The research seeks to comprehend the implications of these legal modifications on rural women's access to retirement and identify the challenges faced by these workers in both the administrative and judicial processes. Additionally, it investigates the number of retirement grants, highlighting women's participation in each category of benefit. The study adopts a qualitative approach, with the analysis of secondary data and documentary sources, to understand the challenges rural women in Goiás face in their pursuit of social security rights. The conclusion emphasizes the numerous difficulties faced by women in obtaining rural retirement and underscores the urgent need for more inclusive and equitable reforms in the social security system to ensure the recognition of rural women's work
