Abstract

This paper presents two different approaches involving the variable Chl where it showed through a scientometric analysis the growing number of studies with the same, especially when considering the monitoring of aquatic marine and freshwater. Within this approach we seek predictors of variable Chl-a and IET in freshwater ecosystems of wetlands for the Midwest region. Importantly, this prediction did not take isolated analysis, but combined with parameters collected land use with remote sensing technique; morphometric and climatic variables for such environments. Through multivariate statistical analysis (ie multiple regression and multiple regression to partition the variance) were unable to determine the predictors of Chl-a and EIT for these environments. The lagoons are marginal along 530 km of the Araguaia River, among the parameters analyzed only the variables pH and DO were statistically predictive of response variables (ie pH predicts Chl-a, pH and DO predicts EIT). The use of Chl-a in this study was based on the growing use of the same for aquatic environments and the fact that the EIT be decisive for such environments. The parameter pH showed nutrient enrichment by introducing material allochthonous ultimately controlling the behavior of the response variables and Chl-EIT, as in environments with organic matter input realizes if low pH with high concentrations of Chl-a and OD because the process of photosynthesis and increase the eutrophication process. We leave here a tendency to search for water resources management where there was a combination of quantitative survey area with knowledge exploratory study is possible to obtain a spatial pattern of environmental parameters and Chl-the EIT. This contribution brings several other exploratory studies with seasonal variation, surveys of other limnological parameters (ie CO2 available in the environment), influences of climatic and hydrological data that can predict the complex biota that is present in ponds through the floodplain analysis primary production and sanitation perspective of floodplain lakes of tropical climate.
