Estratégias de preservação do patrimônio histórico-cultural do Estado de Goiás presente no Memorial Bernardo Sayão em Ceres

Abstract

The history of a people has many facets and is shaped by the passing of time and the appropriation of space, establishing cultural traditions that are built and transmitted over the centuries. We are interested in seeking preservation strategies for the pieces present at the Memorial, which can contribute to the exposure of the rich and available collection to everyone. Thus, we believe that the most effective way to value and preserve historical and cultural heritage is to provide the population with knowledge of its significance for present and future generations. The products of this research arise from a management and educational intervention in part of the collection that makes up the Bernardo Sayão Memorial: a booklet about the Bernardo Sayão Memorial; organization of a temporary exhibition at the Bernardo Sayão Memorial for visitors. The idea of a collaborative temporary exhibition aims not only to understand the memorial but also to offer a product.
