Abstract

This master dissertation intends to understand and discuss the implementation of public policies aimed at the promotion and implementation of Environmental Education actions by the Public Power of the city of Goiânia, through environmental control as a tool to protect the environment and natural resources of the City. For this discussion is highlight the project entitled "Somos Todos Responsáveis-Fiscal Mirim de Meio Ambiente" which aims to work with the implementation of Environmental Education practices carried out by the environmental agency in partnership with the education agency, in order to stimulate reflection and awareness the importance of becoming attentive and responsible adults about environmental protection, given the importance of the society's commitment to such an issue, and that the work of Controlling is not based exclusively on the punitive aspect, but rather, also, educational and preventive. The development of this project will preferably take place with the students of Cycles I and II of the schools of the municipal education network to reach awareness and learning about the conservation and preservation of the environment of the city of Goiânia. The methodological proposal refers to a case study and presents elements of the observation research and participant and is effective with the presentation of the lecture "A Importância Das Ações de Auditoria Fiscal de Meio Ambiente para a Promoção da Educação Ambiental e a Transformação das Relações Ambientais na Cidade", in Power Point, related to the presentation of images related to occurrences inherent to the activity of Environmental Inspection. During the lecture, three questions are asked of the students, in order to seek information about their environmental perception. With the accomplishment of these questions, it was possible to obtain data regarding the opinion and the vision of the students of 30 municipal schools of Goiânia located in the east, west / southwest and northwest regions of the city. In this way, it was possible to certify and confirm the importance of EA as an instrument for socio-environmental transformation and of this Project as a relevant public policy Goiânia.
