Abstract
This work, entitled The perceptions of students on the pedagogy course at UEG, Anápolis about the compulsory supervised curricular internship, is linked to the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program in Education, Languages and Technologies at the State University of Goiás - (PPG/ IELT/ UEG) - in the 'Education, School and Technology' line of research. The research is part of the Educational Policies and Teacher Training Research Group (GPEFORP). The general aim of this research was to understand students' perceptions of the Compulsory Supervised Curricular Internship. In this way, we sought to answer the following problem: What are the students' perceptions of the Pedagogy course and the Compulsory Supervised Curricular Internship at the Nelson de Abreu Júnior University Unit of Socioeconomic and Human Sciences in the municipality of Anápolis-GO? In the search for answers to this problem, the following specific he Pedagogy course at UEG; b) to identify the
characteristics of the Pedagogy course and the Compulsory Supervised Curricular Internship at the Nelson de Abreu Júnior University Unit of Socioeconomic and Human Sciences in Anápolis; and c) to understand how students perceive the Compulsory Supervised Curricular Internship. The study was guided by a vast theoretical framework; and by documents that govern curricular aspects in Brazil, such as: CNE/CP Opinion No. 5/2006, approved on April 4, 2006, CNE/CP Opinion No. 8/2008, approved on December 2, 2008; CNE/CP Resolution No. 2, of July 1, 2015; CNE/CP Resolution No. 2, of November 20, 2019; CsA Resolution No. 09, of November 18, 2015; and Normative Instruction No. 01/2022. To this end, a qualitative study was carried out in the light of the case study, and the field of research was the State University of Goiás at the Nelson de Abreu Júnior University Unit of Socioeconomic and Human Sciences in the municipality of Anápolis-GO. The instruments used in the methodology were a questionnaire and an interview with a semi-structured script. Both were proposed to 40 students enrolled in the compulsory supervised internship course during the 2022/21 and 2023/01 semesters. The research showed that the participants perceived the importance of the Compulsory Supervised Curricular Internship, as well as recognizing the contributions of the internship field and the opportunity to get to know the school environment. The students also understood the need for changes that could contribute to improving the Compulsory Supervised Curricular Internship. As a result, it proved necessary to listen to the trainees and indispensable for them to talk to the teachers, supervisors
and mentor teachers.
