"Quando é fé" : uma análise em perspectiva construcional

Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the micro-construction when is faith, investigating its uses, analysing its productivity, functionality and how can be described in Usege-Based Theory (LFCU) and Constructions Grammar‘s (GC) perspectives. The LFCU understands that language is formed by cognitive, socio-interational and cultural processes, it conceives the language is a complex adaptive system and structurally fluid and studies the grammatical phenomenons of language in use. The GC recognizes as a basic unit of language the construction (GOLDBERG 1995, 2006; CROFT 2001), defined as a pairing of shape and meaning. In its turn, the language is seen as a network of relations which organize itself in use, and the gramatical constitution is understand as a system of entities which are cognitively connected, in a conceptual network. We have as a theoretical contribution among foreign authors Bybee (2010; 2015), Croft, (2001), Diewald (2002; 2006), Goldberg (1995;2006), Goldberg e Jackendoff (2004), Traugott; Trousdale, (2013), Tomasello, (1998; 2003), and others. In Brazil, we have as a base the studies of Alonso e Cezario (2013), Bagno e CassebGalvão (2017), Furtado da Cunha (2013), Martelota (2011), and others. The corpora selected to our research are the Corpus from Portuguese, the Corpus Goiana Speech and by a sample of datas non-schematized which consists in an excerpt selection with when is faith microconstruction uses, collected in researches made in Google website, done by composition program of corpus BootCat. The central hypothesys is that when is faith micro-construction presents productivity on spoken language in Brazil as a whole, in BP, it isn‘t about a dialectal use in ―goiana‖ speech which is very recurrent, it has functionality on its textual level, acts on narrative organization and indicts a linguistic change process. This research is synchronous and it involves qualitative and quantitative analysis from real data of the language in use. The analysis shows that when is faith micro-construction uses present themselves in linguistic changes processes and have distinct functionality in specific context. When is faith acts as a textual operator, assisting on macro-organization from narrative as a introducer of narrative climax.
