Abstract

This research had as object of study the organizational climate, delimited in Centro Clínica de Saúde Alfa, regarding changes in the work environment, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in the year 2021.Varied reasons led the researcher to study the aforementioned object and its delimitation. The problem of this study is “What are the main changes, impacts, motivations and satisfactions, of health system professionals, in the organizational work environment, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic?”. Thus, the general objective was established by “Presenting the main changes, impacts, motivations and satisfactions of health system professionals in the organizational work environment, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic”. To achieve the general objective, it was organized as specific, such as: 1. Analyze bibliographical and document reviews on Covid-19 and hospital organizations, 2. Identify the main aspects of transitions of changes in the organizational work environment and their effects in times of a pandemic, 3. Evaluate the characteristics of the motivational environment of the employees and leaders of Centro Clínica de Saúde Alfa, in 2021, 4. Understand the relationships between employees and the organization from the point of view of motivation and professional satisfaction in moments of crisis and uncertainty and, 5. Describe the changes in the organizational environment of Centro Clínica de Saúde Alfa. The methodological procedures included applied research, a quantitative-qualitative, bibliographical and exploratory approach, as well as an empirical study with the application of a closed questionnaire with employees of the locus. The fictitious name of the hospital company was Centro Clínico de Saúde Alfa, referred to in the work as Alfa, to preserve the privacy of administrative and financial data, protecting employees from exposure. Theoretical and empirical discussions clearly showed the differences in the work climate of the health company and its employees, confirming that the work environment was compromised by restrictions and lack of preparation to deal with the pandemic. However, the leadership of Centro Clínica de Saúde Alfa understands the importance of providing a favorable environment for employees. It was observed that the organizational climate actions, proposed by the company, have a positive impact on employee motivation and satisfaction.
