Abstract

This quantitative and qualitative research tries to come closer the Plane and Space Geometry into the students daily routine. Making them think, build in a reflexive way with the contents, having the David Ausubel Significant Learning Theory. The research was introduced in the second year high school like a didactically method, during 31 classes, hoping them to identify the issue to approach and Interact. The main goal is to investigate the way they use the objects like: measuring tapes, cameras in an ecologically track in the Cerrado. Besides all the objects, they have to use virtual objects in the Plane and Space Geometry like a methodology learning by Significant Learning Theory. The researcher was the teacher who collected the informations during the classes. In the first moment the teacher gave them a questionnaire to know their knowledge, through the results she introduced the Plane and Space Geometry concepts. They all visited the “Trilha do Tatu”, an ecologically track held in “Campus Anápolis de Ciências Exatas e Tecnológica – Henrique Santillo da Universidade Estadual de Goiás”, where they registered all the images they considered to be related with Plane and Space Geometry with the objects like cameras, measuring tapes, cellphones. In other classes, the students organized in groups in order to analyze the taken photographys. Measures were sent to the teacher who created a Virtual Object Learning (OVA), to show the results studying the concepts and the Geometry. The research made the students understand Geometry in a possitve way, so besides making them Interact they could realized how its clear in their daily routine. They also had the opportunity to visualize and calculate trought the objects.
