Abstract

The present work presents the results of a descriptive research linked to the research line Education, School and Technologies of the PPG/IELT/UEG of the University Unit CSEH Nelson de Abreu Junior, of the State University of Goiás, based in the City of Anápolis-GO. Our main objective was to understand how the increase in migration occurred in Aparecida de Goiânia, with the creation of the industrial district and what were the implications of the migratory movement both in schools and in the process of school education of children in a situation of migration. The work was developed through the analysis of the implications of the increase in internal migratory flows, for work, in the school life of children in the early years of elementary school. We analyze the historical context of the beginning of migrations to the city of Aparecida de Goiânia- GO, concomitantly with the creation and full operation of the Vice President José de Alencar Industrial Park. Through analysis of the context and the theoretical and methodological framework used, the objective was to understand the conditions that occurred with the increase in the migratory flow to the city of Aparecida de Goiânia, the implications in municipal schools and the commitment of the school education process, of children in migration with their families. For this, we used a methodological theoretical framework and documentary and descriptive research. This material was organized into topics such as work, migration, rights and school education, in articulation with the multiple dimensions of the phenomenon of migration from the perspective of work. Based on the foregoing, it is possible to indicate a relative loss of learning in the school education process of children who migrate with their families.
