O pensamento autocrático do jurista Miguel Reale na redemocratização brasileira (1974-1985)

Abstract

This dissertation is concerned with analyzing the existing contradictions regarding the conception of democracy, using research focused in the Brazilian democratization, characterized as an important political process that housed various class interests. Within the acceptable historical limits and backed by the political environment around the "slow, gradual and safe transition", perform through a specialized bibliography of written sources and other documents produced, the exact extent of the autocratic thought of the intellectual jurist Miguel Reale and his conception of democracy, is what this research seeks to understand. By undertaking as an epistemological basis the marxist contribution of ideology, we chose to analyze and interpret. Within the historical overview of this period, the categories appreciated by Antonio Gramsci of organic intellectual, passive revolution and expanded state, with ways to outline an academic contribution, able to capture what has been preserved from authoritarianism in this strategic political alliance of the ruling class.
