Abstract
The present work is a study carried out in five schools that have been certified as creative schools by the International Network of Creative Schools (RIEC). In conducting this research, the objective, at first, was to identify what these schools, recognized as creative by RIEC, do differently in the organization and planning of teaching and learning processes. We know that schools are environments for change, which can be rebuilt, revitalized and renewed, and for this reason it becomes so important to organize the process of building knowledge with proper and fundamental preparation of the activities. Therefore, a creative school brings great opportunities, leaving aside the traditional method and calling us to build a space of belonging for everyone. The methodology used in this research was the qualitative approach, by analyzing documents, making observations, interviews, photographic records and field studies to explore different sources of evidence and build
data on the investigated reality to be analyzed from the categories present in the Instrument for Valuing the Development of Creative Institutions (VADECRIE), linking the investigation to the International Network of Creative Schools (RIEC).Theoretical references were analyzed, which addressed topics such as; complexity, levels of reality, transdisciplinarity, pedagogical practices among others, based on authors such as Edgar Morin (2001), Basarab Nicolescu (1997), Marilza Vanessa Rosa Suanno (2015), João Henrique Suanno (2015), Saturnino de la Torre (2005), José Carlos Libâneo (1990), Paulo Freire (1987), Cipriano Carlos Luckesi (1994), and Jean Piaget (2001), to support the research from the object of study. Therefore, we understand that creativity can help contribute to empathic relationships that favor human relationships. Therefore, when thinking about the construction of this work, it was sought to understand the aforementioned theme, entitled "Intertwining knowledge - A look at the pedagogical practices of schools certified by the International Network of Creative Schools - RIEC", in order to answer what creative schools advance towards moving beyond traditional pedagogy. From the data collection, it was verified that the researched schools break through with patterns and models that have predominated for a long time, but have undergone a paradigm rupture, in a way that the knowledge is articulated to life,
value the experiences created during the construction and reconstruction of knowledge, promote human, cultural and environmental values, and respect and collaboration among people.Thus, through a transdisciplinary and creative look, these actions undertaken collaborate to a critical and social active education of students with possibilities of inferring changes for the common good, besides enhancing the development of the student in a significant way.
