Abstract

The Cerrado is the savannah with the greatest biodiversity on the planet, located in the interior of the Brazil, forms a vegetation complex that has borders with almost all the Brazilian biomes, however, in contrast to their high endemism and ecological importance has intense degrading activity and threat. Create notes for the appreciation of the Cerrado through the recognition of materials, such as vernacular architecture, is an alternative for its preservation and on a strategic scale, for the conservation of other Brazilian biomes. Architecture vernacular or traditional architecture as it is also mentioned, reflects the contemporary without ceasing to be a witness to the history of society. At farms formed during the old republic (1898-1930) on the central plateau do part of this traditional architecture and are material witnesses of a period of economic transition essential for understanding the cultural multiverse of the people of the Goiás State. In this work, ten farmhouses were built along the trail Caminho de Cora Coralina, in the center of Goiás State, composing an investigation that integrates a set of studies of historical and geographical aspects of the region that allows us to observe occupancy parameters to be recorded and compared between the objects of study in search of elements that characterize their relationship or independence of the way of building and occupying the space in the Cerrado. Understanding the architecture and installation site of farms is an important form of contribution to the discussion on the preservation of this heritage built, in addition to producing material for further research. investigate elements of vernacular architecture, its activities, development and conservation while landscape forming element and topophilic aspects of the landscape generate notes that collaborate with the conservation of the built heritage, the rural landscapes and the environmental landscapes of the Cerrado.
