Gestão do patrimônio arqueológico arquitetônico dos arraiais de mineração do século XVIII : o uso do Vant no mapeamento do Arraial do Ferreiro em Goiás

Abstract

Ferreiro was one of the first camps that appeared in Goiás territory in the beginning of the 18th century and is located six kilometers from the city of Goiás. From this old camp only the Church of São João Batista remains standing, protected by Federal Register carried out by the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Service (SPHAN) in 1953 and ratified by the state government in 1980. The entire space in an area of approximately 50 thousand m² that integrates the Church is registered as an archaeological site within the Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage National (IPHAN) bringing protection and ensuring that any intervention carried out in this area must be authorized by IPHAN. Thus, seeking tools that can contribute to data production, this research aims to analyze the feasibility of using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in the management of architectural and archeological material cultural heritage, having as a study case the old Arraial do Ferreiro. The mapping carried out made it possible to create a high-resolution aerial photographic collection that captured small transformations within the site's area. As a result, maps were drawn up showing the interventions observed; files that can be opened in Google Earth Pro software. Consequently, as a product of this research, the magazine Know the Arraial do Ferreiro was produced, which summarizes the history of the village and presents the study data so that researchers and managers can verify the data produced by the mapping and compare them with those provided by the program. In addition, the magazine also presents the role of the drone as an instrument for documenting cultural heritage and providing guidance on good practices for safe operation.
