Abstract
The research addresses the way in which geometry teaching has been seen and its relationship with the failure of teaching-learning of some elementary school students. It aims to investigate the contributions that Poly Pro software can bring to the teaching-learning of spatial geometry. Therefore, a qualitative research was carried out with some mathematics teachers in the city of Rubiataba, where it was found that few teachers use the software during mathematics classes and that none of them knew Poly Pro. In a second stage, a case study was carried out in a citizen school in Rubiataba with the objective of verifying the possible potential of the software for teaching geometric solids. From the didactic sequence used in the case study, the educational product was assembled in the form of an ebook with activities, didactic sequence and information about the Poly Pro software so that the teacher can have more resources to work the content of geometric solids effectively and meaningful to the student. During the research, it can be seen that the Poly Pro software is a valuable tool for teaching-learning geometric solids in the sixth year of elementary school, both in face-to-face and remote teaching.
